There are a number of ways to mount your artwork inside the picture frame. For some art, there will be a variety of mounting options. For others, the mounting options may be limited. We will work with you to select the best option for your art.

We specialize in ‘hinging’ to stabilize your art pieces, as well as float mounting when you want to feature the edges of the art. For example, you would choose this option when your art has a deckled edge or when you are framing a painting on papyrus.

Other mounting options include:

• Dry mounting - used on less expensive posters or art. It’s used to flatten the wrinkles out of a poster. This is not recommended for original artwork.

• Pin mounting - used for needlepoint, cross-stitch and other stitched items.
